These Numbers Have Faces
Our most significant partnership is with These Numbers Have Faces (TNHF), based in the townships of Cape Town, South Africa. TNHF invests in the future leaders of South Africa by empowering young people to reduce poverty in their own communities. Through college scholarships and a dynamic Community Impact Model based on service, mentoring, and financial literacy, young people are developing the skills to transform South Africa.

TNHF and One of One
The partnership between These Numbers Have Faces and One of One goes back to 2001 when Justin Zoradi and Cesar Castillejos met on the campus of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. After college both Zoradi and Castillejos went on to start organizations that reflected a passion to make a difference in the world. Zoradi started These Numbers Have Faces and Castillejos started One of One Clothing Company. The two re-connected and brainstormed how they could work together to maximize the impact of their organizations. In 2009, the partnership was established between One of One and TNHF.

“When I started One of One I wanted to partner with an organization I believed in and also trusted. I wanted to establish a long-term partnership with an organization doing work overseas and I was looking for one that I had a personal connection with. I’ve always respected Justin and his heart for people. I trust him and the work he is doing. It was a natural transition to move from a friendship to a partnership with him and I’m excited to see the impact These Numbers Have Faces and One of One can have working together.”
— C. Castillejos

In 2009 One of One Clothing Company, with the help of Nike and other contributers, provided the JL Zwane Football Club with new uniforms. In 2010, One of One and These Numbers Have Faces and launched the Buy One Give One FREE campaign.

For every shirt sold in America we give one away to someone in South Africa through These Numbers Have Faces. Through this long-term partnership we hope to send a message to the youth of South Africa that people in America care for them and the welfare of their community.
